Administrative Assistant - Vector Construction

Our VCS Engineering team is currently seeking an organized and proactive Admin Assistant to join our team in our Tampa, FL office. As an Admin Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to our Office Manager, ensuring smooth operations and enabling our team to focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. As an integral part of our office, you'll help maintain an efficient and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, payroll, scheduling appointments, and organizing files.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the preparation of documents and reports as required.
• Manage office supplies and maintenance.
• Help coordinate team travels, meetings and special events.
• Support accounting functions with data entry, invoicing and filing.
• Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.

• 1+ years of administrative experience.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Adobe, Word and Excel.
• Experience in payroll and with QuickBooks will be an asset.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
