This is a great opportunity for an individual with clinical knowledge (preferably CMA or LPN) and excellent Electronic Medical Record (EMR) skills.
In this position, you will be working with the St. Vincent Medical Group providers and patients to provide support with care gap closures.
What You Will Do:
Organize and coordinate office support functions, activities and workflow for assigned functional area or department.
- Coordinate office services including telephone coverage, supplies, and preparation and distribution of correspondence, meeting materials, and reports.
- Track and disseminate changes and updates to policies and procedures.
- Make recommendations to improve and streamline office functions.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, track scheduling information, and ensure that office operating costs are within budgetary constraints.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, providing information, printed materials, or other resources as appropriate.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Medical certification/license required (certified Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience with Athena electronic medical record.
