Title:                 Administrative Support - Warehouse/Logistics 
Location:          North Kingstown, RI
Duration:         0-12+ Months (Temp to Hire) 
Shift:                 1st Shift 

Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations:
Execute all daily functional operations.
Apply IT systems effectively.
Prepare routine specialized reports, correspondence, and statistics.
Maintain records and filing systems.
Enter data into computer systems, including Office applications or specialized software packages.
Complete routine reports to support decision-making processes.

Administrative Support:
Perform administrative tasks for programs, projects, and processes specific to the organizational unit.
Select from clear choices based on defined procedures to address work situations.
Address unexpected situations with technical assistance or authorization.
Operate major parts or the full spectrum of dedicated specialized standard software packages.
Handle routine and non-complex practical inquiries and procedures from internal or external customers.

Customer Services:
Provide customer contact and support.
Handle purchase orders (PO) and procurement.
Support invoicing processes.
Complete ad hoc tasks as needed.
Organize and support departmental administration.
Ensure paperwork is in place for logistics and purchases.
Support invoicing to customers.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, operating within structured information requests.

Logistics and Warehouse Management:
Complete operational approved logistics processing on schedule.
Manage goods receipt, warehouse management, transport, and dispatch.
Capture relevant data in processing systems.
Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area.
Record transactions in appropriate systems.
Complete internal and external transports using professional means of transportation, including forklifts.
Organize regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
Maintain vigilant health & safety awareness with a zero-harm attitude.

Skills and Experience:
Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work.
2-year vocational training plus up to 1 year of experience.
Experience with SAP, Word, and Excel.
Ability to perform a full range of services in a defined and focused technical or administrative area.
Skills in using standardized software programs and handling routine customer contact calls.
Technical understanding for operating specialized machines, tools, and equipment.
Office-based position with occasional requirements for warehouse activities.
PPE in the warehouse includes safety shoes and a high-visibility vest.
