Job Title: Administrative Support
Location: South Haven, MI
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Status: Full-time

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our client's team in South Haven, MI. This role supports the property management office, handling leasing paperwork, resident inquiries, and more for our client's complex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process leasing/tenant paperwork
  • Handle manual data entry, manage paperwork, and assist with the annual income verification process for tax credit compliance.
• Support the Property Manager
  • Assist with coding invoices, posting payments, and various administrative tasks.
• Resident and Prospect Communication
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and interact with residents and prospective tenants in person.
• Property Tours
  • Provide tours of available units to prospective tenants.
• Report Maintenance and Filing
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.

Qualifications:

• Must Have:
  • Any level of office/admin experience is highly preferred (open to those without admin experience).
  • Strong ability to handle paperwork and manual data entry.
  • Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable being the sole office staff after training, with support from a property manager and onsite maintenance.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with OneSite software.
  • Leasing experience or familiarity with tax credit housing/affordable housing programs.
  • Experience with HUD regulations and invoice coding.

Additional Information:

• Thick skin is required as you’ll be managing communications with residents, including handling challenging situations.
