Perform administrative aspects of system management pertaining to the Picture Archival and Communication Systems (PACS).
Responsibilities:
- Manage database and server groups.
- Perform daily management of PACS anomalies and change process to prevent recurrence.
- Perform daily management of transcription issues and follow up on all reports not finalized.
- Manage imaging IS projects from inception to completion.
- Provide input for operations and capital budget requests.
- Provide direction and coordination of end user training.
- Liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the department and other departments.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
- Sonography Tech preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
