Job Summary
The University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business is seeking a talented and energetic Admissions & Recruiting Specialist to join the Executive MBA ( EMBA ) team. In this role, the ideal candidate will thrive in a professional, customer-centric, and results-driven environment, providing comprehensive support for both recruiting and admissions processes.
This position requires extensive engagement with prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, and other School and University staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
+ Prospective Student Outreach: Proactively engage with prospective students through consistent communication via Zoom, phone, email, and in-person meetings, fostering relationships and providing information about the EMBA program.
+ Program Overview: Provide prospective students with comprehensive explanations of the EMBA program through inbound and outbound calls and in-person meetings, highlighting key benefits and opportunities.
+ Lead Management: Effectively manage prospective student leads using the CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring all professional and academic details are accurately recorded and logging all interactions, including in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.
+ Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records across platforms and perform regular data clean-up and management to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.
+ Application Management: Guide prospective students through the application process, providing timely follow-up and encouragement to ensure completion and submission.
+ Application Processing: Collaborate with the admissions team to evaluate applications, participate in the admissions committee, and identify qualified candidates through thoughtful assessment.
+ Event Development & Management: Assist in the planning and execution of recruiting events, including venue and menu selection, assembling marketing materials, and engaging with prospective students during events to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
+ Student Services: Support students and alumni on campus and at various events by providing significant interpersonal engagement, contributing to an exceptional student experience. Assist EMBA faculty by preparing course materials and delivering ongoing support throughout the duration of courses.
