Overview:
Full Time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide medical and health services for our inpatients of Belmont, by coordinating medication administration, evaluations and mental health assessments. We have a competitive base salary in addition to coverage and productivity bonuses.

*Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period.

Responsibilities:
Summary:
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications:
Board certification in psychiatry
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
