Job Title: Adolescent Therapist/Counselor
Reports To: Adolescent Program Manager
Compensation: $32-42
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 9am-5pm and Tues 10am-7pm

Imagine by Northpoint has an opening for an Adolescent Therapist/Counselor at our Omaha, Nebraska out-patient facility. As a key member of the Imagine by Northpoint team, the Adolescent Therapist/Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and case management services to clients at Imagine by Northpoint.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families
- Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
- Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care
- Provide orientation and education to clients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process
- Collaborate with assigned clients in the development of written treatment plans; include client and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning
- Monitor clients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions
- Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner to assure comprehensive and quality client care
- Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times
- Oversee and participate in the quality assurance and compliance activities of the facility
- Provide clinical updates to utilization review and representatives of managed care to best coordinate reimbursement of treatment services
- Coordinate with community based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post discharge
- Case staffing and individual case supervision
- Facilitate individual and group therapy
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care
- Other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Must hold an active mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered, at hire and throughout the entire duration of employment
- Master’s Degree or higher in a mental health or social science field from and accredited college or university
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Counselor in Nebraska
- Minimum of 1 (one) year experience in relevant field
- Ability to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating adolescent clients assigned
- Must hold strong personal boundaries and able to build rapport with patients
- Must understand and adhere to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
•Completion of a tuberculin screening during first week of employment
•Completion of a pre-employment drug screening, post-accident and random for upon reasonable suspicion of use
•Completion of CPR/First Aid Training within first 90 days of employment
•Completion of background check and professional reference checks
