Position Overview:Qinetiq US is seeking administrative professionals to support senior DoD acquisition professionals within the Missile Defense Agency. This position requires individuals who are motivated self starters with a record of exceptional performance and support, preferably in a DoD environment. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:- Provide on-site administrative support for MDA organizations. Implement existing MDA administrative directives, policies, and procedures.
- Provide office and telephone coverage including accurate and timely
messages and, answering and directing all telephone calls - Generate, receive, review, reproduce, publish, and distribute external
and internal written material, and provide quality control of
documentation. Review and/or coordinate on actions where
responsibility is designated. Distribute material, to include posting to
and/or retrieving information from the classified and unclassified
MDA Knowledge Online (MKO) Portals - Provide and access control services to include assisting in the processing of Visit Authorization Requests (VAR's)
- Prepare domestic and international travel arrangements IAW the Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTRs) and the Federal Travel Regulations (FTRs) using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- coordinate internal and external correspondence. The
contractor shall implement MDA administrative issuances, policies, and
procedures in the areas of correspondence. The contractor shall develop and
coordinate correspondence and related documents per MDA policies. - Prepare and maintain schedules for organizational leadership. The contractor shall implement existing administrative directives, policies, and procedures in the areas of scheduling and calendar management
- Schedule, prepare and support organizational meetings.
- Provide on-site support for correspondence management and
staff action activities to include daily access to E-Tasker/TMT to input, process,
review, coordinate, and provide status updates on staff action packages.
- BA/BS and 4 years' experience in administrative/business field OR AA and 6 years’ experience in administrative/business field OR HS Diploma and 10 years’ administrative/business field
- 1 years' experience executing and leading tasks associated with mid-executive level (O-6 Military, GS15/NH-IV civilian or below), and/or general administrative support in all facets of administration.

- Highly proficient preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
- Highly proficient in Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), For Official Use Only (FOUO), and Classified information handling programs and procedures.
- Highly proficient in government records and database management process and procedures.
- Highly proficient working with government travel processes and systems.
- Highly proficient developing and maintaining administrative schedules including electronic schedules and calendars.
- Highly proficient in government correspondence handling procedures.
- Proficient working with government task management systems.
- Proficient researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead).
- Proficient working with government time-management procedures and systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills to include phone, office etiquette, and written skills.
