Advanced Practice Provider Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - OSF HR Team

Overview

JOB DETAILS:

• The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team is looking for a Physician Assistant with experience to fill a 1.0 FTE!
• Will be first assist in the OR when Dr. Dorafshar (current Plastic Surgeon) is operating
• Will help round on admitted patients, see post-op patients in clinic, assist with in office procedures and perform weekly tissue expansions for reconstruction breast patients for a duration of 6-8 weeks before permanent breast implant can be implanted
• Will also see acute visits for patients with pain, wound check, and other issues in the clinic 
• Will see all re-con breast cancer patients as they require a yearly follow up for life

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics
