Job Duties:
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), Item Register/Quote Approval Format (IR/QAF), Cost of Sales (COS), No Product Sign-off (NPSO), Invoicing/Invoicing discrepancies, Supplier Portal activities Tracker processes, and Supplier Risk Evaluations.
- Document all processes into their respective systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the New Product Launch team to prioritize and process new program requirements, ensuring accurate and timely closure of BOMs to support program launches.
- Continuously update the Opportunity Matrix to identify sourcing opportunities for new programs, supporting Sourcing Manager negotiations.
- Manage component end-of-life (EOL) situations by coordinating with relevant teams to assess program impacts, forecast future requirements, and manage Last-Time Buys to avoid supply disruptions.
- Work closely with the Cost Planning team to identify components affecting programs with less than 10% Operating Profit. Collaborate with the AP team to negotiate costs or source alternate components.
- Assist the Advanced Purchasing Strategic Group Manager and Department with daily operations, implement new procedures, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Generate and compile business statistical reports to support decision-making processes.
- Create and manage correspondence and reports, ensuring compliance with departmental records retention policies.
Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor Degree (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Experienced in sourcing high-volume electronic components (Electronics Manufacturing Company or Automotive Electronics background)
- Proven experience in Advanced Purchasing or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
