Summary: Seeking an Aerospace Engineer with expertise in regulatory compliance, certification processes, and complex engineering problem solving.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field; 10 years of specific technical discipline experience or 15 years broad engineering experience.
Thorough understanding of 14 CFR part 25 regulatory compliance requirements under 14 CFR part 21 certification procedures.
Proficient at determination and application of certification methods of compliance to airworthiness standards.
Experience managing engineering type design change projects, new/amended STC projects, major repairs and alterations.
Strong communication and written composition skills for authoring technical documents.
Preferred Skills:
Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum.
Experience with EASA processes and CS 25 regulatory requirements.
Previous experience working with a delegated organization (ODA, DAS, DOA).
Job Responsibilities:
Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
Consult extensively as a recognized authority within the field.
Develop standards and guides for diverse engineering activities balancing technical product, cost, and schedule considerations.
Review and understand engineering design data to ensure compliance is appropriately shown.
Pay Details: $80.00 to $105.00 per hour
