Then look no further... we are seeking a skilled Agriculture Equipment Technician! As an Agriculture Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems, with a passion for ensuring that agricultural machinery operates efficiently to support our operation.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose basic to complex mechanical issues with agriculture equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment (lubrication, oil change, etc.)
- Identify potential problems (mechanical or field conditions) and react appropriately.
- Maintain and repair facilities used for the operation.
- Perform basic fabrications as needed.
- Adhere to common safety practices and procedures.
- Responsible for following all Company Policies and Procedures, as well as any Local, State and/or Federal Regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications-
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma, equivalent (GED), or demonstrated proficiency through previous job experience and/or training in related performance responsibilities as listed below.
- Ability to handle physical exertion.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years general mechanical experience, preferably with agriculture equipment or heavy equipment.
- Completion of appropriate vocational/agriculture technical school training may be substituted for years of experience.
