Ag Finance Analyst - Gpac

 Gpac is partnered with a successful Ag operation in Omaha, NE that is looking to add a staff Accounting Specialist to their team. Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assigned duties include analysis of business unit and consolidated financial statement and/or supporting schedules and communication of results to stakeholders.
• Partnership with business units to prepare and report KPIs.
• Oversee monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis
• Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
• Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
• Analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules and communicate results to business units
• Perform quarterly analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with other leaders to identify and implement best practices across assigned Center of Excellence
• Responsible for the services provided to customers and to remediate all issues in a productive manner

Accounting Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Analytical skills, critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile anomalies, and provide insight and analysis into financial results.
• Communication skills, ability to interact with all customers
