Agent in Charge - Green Rose

Agent in Charge position NOW open at Green Rose's flagship location right in River North. Join a team that consists of the most diverse, fast moving, innovative leaders in the State of Illinois.  We need hands-on leadership professionals who enjoy working on all levels of the operation.  The cannabis industry is on the cusp of major growth in the State of Illinois and there is no better team to do it with than the Green Rose team. 
 

Agent in Charge Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Contribute to and assist in developing, implementing, and executing standard operational procedures/policies, operational rules, compliance, regulatory requirements / amendments 

• Lead by example while advancing the Green Rose mission, strategy, growth and executing all tactical and strategic objectives 

• Manage and supervise all staff daily to ensure assignments/activities are carried forth 

• Manage/Oversee/lead execution in all quality of product, product inventory and daily audits  

• Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are being adhered to 

• Supervise all cash handling procedures and reporting 

• Manage and motivate all internal and external staff to always extend the highest levels of customer service and respect 

• Create and provide pathways for all staff to receive education and development about various products, mechanisms, and consumption 

• Work directly with the Green Rose leadership team to create budget and forecast sales 

• Lead staff to exceed all goals and objectives 

• Work with wholesalers 

• Stay ahead of all product development and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products in store as well as industry – not just their own individual store, but all the stores within our company – willingness to cross-train, cross-travel is expected as part of this role. 

• Other duties as assigned 

Position Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years of experience in a management environment 

• 2 years of cannabis retail experience required 

• Consistent and constant communication on all levels 

• Accountability at all levels and for others 

• Balanced decision making 

• Intuitive critical thinking 

• Practical and pro-active actions/thinking 

• Attention to detail, organized lead on all workspaces 

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to pass a background check 

• Must be 21 years of age 

• Must possess a valid license or state ID 

• Must remain compliant with all city and state regulations and requirements for working in the industry 

• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time 

• Willingness to be flexible – Travel is at times necessary; therefore, travel is required for retail management
