Aircrew Scheduling / Programming Support
Location: Sheppard AFB, TX

Position Summary:
Advancia Technologies, LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualifiedcandidate with a desired two (2) to four (4) years of experience in an operational flying unit to fulfill an Aircrew Scheduling / Programming Support training function.
CORE SCHEDULING SUPPORT: Aircrew Scheduling / Programming Support personnel will work at Headquarters Air Education and Training Command (HQ AETC) at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedule aircraft, academics, and training devices as well as the crew complement in order to meet applicable local policies and training syllabus requirements.
- Change and update the schedule to maximize use of resources when deviations or other factors affect the schedule.
- Compare anticipated sortie taskings against the qualification, availability, and training requirements of available crewmembers.
- Build long-range and execute short-range schedules IAW local SOP’s and Programmed Flying Training (PFT) requirements; coordinate with senior squadron leadership can be on a daily and weekly basis.
- Identify syllabus deviations and report them to leadership using locally established procedures (all except C-130H).
- Coordinate with the Training shop (DOT), STM, SARM, SOF Liaison Officer (SOFLO) and Stan/Eval or equivalents to arrange a schedule to facilitate qualification, upgrade, currency, and continuation training IAW DO priorities as needed.
- Create daily, weekly, and long-range scheduling products.
Common Task Requirements:
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, electronic mail and other applications.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, forms, briefings, emails and other documents using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
- Make changes to Word documents, modify Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to enhance their effectiveness or to repair/correct minor errors.
- Utilize the Graduate/ Training Integrated Management System (GTIMS) and/or comparable weapon system specific Training Management System (TMS
- Accomplish any training necessary to execute tasks
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Highly desired at least two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate the following systems/programs:
- Computer-based training and integrated management system (TIMS, GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)
- SharePoint websites and communities of practice
- Microsoft Access is not required but highly desired
Additional Requirements:
- Must be physically able to perform all the technical duties
- Must be able to adapt under a highly stressful multi-task environment for extended periods of time/up to eight (8) hours
- If prior service, must have received an honorable discharge
- Applicant will be subject to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
