About the Job
Southeast Texas HR is seeking an Alarm Installation Technician to join our team. As our Alarm Installation Technician, you will work with an area clients installing and maintaining security systems and CCTV systems to ensure the safety and protection of our clients. You will work with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for excellence. We offer competitive compensation as well as opportunities for growth and advancement. These can become temp-to-perm positions for the ideal candidates. Pay will be $17.00-$20.00 per hour, DOE.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain alarm and cctv systems in a variety of facilities.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to design and implement customized security solutions.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solutions.
- Train end-users on proper system operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of system installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Will sometimes be traveling out of town in a company vehicle and staying in a hotel paid by the company M-F
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college course work preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in alarm and cctv installation and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in wiring, cabling, and networking.
- Familiarity with a variety of security technologies, such as access control systems, sensors, and cameras.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- MUST be willing to travel up to 50%
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- TWIC card is required.
