Responsibilities:About the Role:
The Asset Liability Management Analyst I (ALM) is a key team member supporting the research, development, implementation, and maintenance of GM Financial's Asset Liability Management model and processes. Leveraging your analytical skills, you will utilize multiple tools and software to review and prepare data for ALM system consumption on a monthly basis.
In this role you will:
- Support the research, development, and implementation of GM Financial's ALM model within BancWare
- Assist in monthly production of ALM metrics such as EVE, Duration Gap, NII Sensitivity, and Liquidity
- Provide data analysis for monthly production ALM runs using BDI and BancWare
- Run monthly tracking reports related to consumer originations, derivative execution, prepayments etc
- Provide analysis to support the Asset Liability Committee including interest rate, cross currency, and liquidity risk analysis
- Support balance sheet forecasting and planning process; working closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to coordinate assumptions, methodologies, and results
- Maintain up to date model documentation and work with internal constituents such as Audit and Model validation

Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Economics in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 0-2 years prior experience in asset liability management, financial analysis, data mining, statistics, and forecasting preferred
