About the Job
As an Analyst I on the KCAS Pharma Discovery team, you will leverage your knowledge of scientific principles to be responsible for the preparation of reagents and solutions as well as sample processing under required regulatory documentation. You will analyze data, interpret results, and contribute to troubleshooting activities, such as inventory of chemicals, washing glassware, waste disposal, and/or general cleanup. You may also provide basic training for other laboratory personnel.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
- Prepare and label laboratory solutions while processing and/or analyzing samples.
- Perform and/or verify calculations related to reagent preparation and/or sample analysis while reviewing information and documentation for accuracy.
- Conduct sample inventory and verify sample identities.
To qualify specifically for this roll, you will have:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with pipetting.
- Experience preparing solutions.
- Genuine interest in learning.
- Open to real-time feedback.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliability and consistency in work effort.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Solid mathematical abilities
