Responsible for a maintaining and controlling the processing of store orders. Analyzing the conversion of store orders to warehouse activities in grocery and perishable warehouses. This includes the evaluation of complex inventory and systems discrepancies, pre and post wave analysis, processing store orders and entering of data information into warehouse systems, articulating complex issues involving system integration. Collaborates with IT, Business Systems Team and Campus Leadership for store billing issue resolution, technical support to receiving and shipping departments, and exchange of information as needed with customers in retail, merchandising, trucking, and distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works collectively with Warehouse Operations, Inventory, and IT teams to analyze and process store orders using the following business systems:
- MAWM, SCI, Biceps, Service Now, Power BI, Cams
- Execute and maintain processes for work generation independently or without supervision, acting as SME in the function of processing store orders
- Performs system research and analysis to identify, diagnosis, and resolve problems. Builds and maintains the SOPs using data analysis, industry best practices and continuous improvement process mapping
- Collaborates with Campus Leadership, Bus. Systems Teams, IT, Retail, Customer Service using data and strong communication skills to produce on our promise to always deliver
- Builds reporting for leadership in support of campus KPIs, maintains relevant SCI reports
- Monitor generated tasks from waving for obstacles and assist in problem resolution
- Communicate with appropriate department leads and 3rd party labor providers for MAWM task, labor, inventory, and order discrepancies
- Utilize reports to assist campus and IT support services in investigating and resolving issues related to order processing and store invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate, organized files for all department responsibilities for efficient access to necessary information
- Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or system configuration impacting their work group or network that will maximize efficiency, productive, and reduce costs.
- Maintain integrity of slotting strategy through analysis and continual alignment of slot profiles with item velocity as it pertains to the tools used for processing orders to maintain system stability.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert knowledge with MAWM, SCI and supporting systems
- Seasoned knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory practices, procedures, and research techniques
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent computer, communication, verbal, and written skills
- Advanced analytical, RCA, and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate effective and successful process development and maintenance skills
- Ability to perform in pressure situations with short timelines
- Meet execution standards set by the company
- Read and understand reports pertaining MAWM, SCI and other business systems
- Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
- Proficient use of computer for data entry and research purposes
- Highly motivated, self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
Education and Experience
- High School education
- College or equivalent warehousing/inventory experience (preferred)
- Process Improvement, Data Science, or Power BI Certificates (preferred)
- Certified on a powered industrial equipment where applicable
- Manhattan Active
- Inventory Management or Warehouse Operations (preferred)
- Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment (preferred)
