• Partial Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Onsite and as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Track quality assurance metrics. 
• 45% Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology. Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources. 
• 45% Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes. 
• 10% Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, creating test cases, executing testing, and monitoring/documenting results. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff. 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

• Excellent project planning, organization, and management skills. 
• Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems. 
• Thorough understanding of systems migration processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Skill in testing data creation and manipulation. 
• Ability to understand functional connections between applications. 
• Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc. 

Required Software and Tools: Standard office equipment. 

Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms. Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. Skill in whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software.

 Work Environment: The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client’s operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer. 

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.

Required Work Experience: 5 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or matrices.

Skill Set

• Ability to access DB2 tables via TSO or any other tools like Data Studio, DB Visualizer, Rocket Shuttle.
• Ability to write queries to retrieve data from SQL server data base.
• Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve data from DB2 tables and validate data quality.
• Ability to review inbound/outbound extracts in TSO.
• Ability to download extracts from TSO, convert files in various formats from CSV to Excel, Excel to CSV, Flat file to Excel.
• Compare data in source tables vs target tables and identify differences.
• Verify data is transformed and loaded in the target table based on the business logic provided in the mapping document.
• Review mapping documents and document test cases based on the business logic.
• Experience with Membership, Claims, Provider tables/data flow is a plus.
• Experience with run queries in data lake is a plus.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $25.00/hour - $39.84/hour. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
