Analyzing Technician at The Fountain Group

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an ­­­­­­­­Analyzing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Elgin, IL. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $35-41/hr
Contract until end of year with possible extension
100% onsite

Job Description:

• Responsible for board-level analysis of failed 2-way subscriber products (both mobile and portable 2-way radios).
• Involved in testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic assemblies to identify the root causes of failures.
• Analyze rejected electronic assemblies using various test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems, define corrective actions, and communicate findings effectively.
• Identify vendor vs. process defects and write detailed failure analysis reports.
• Record data of failures and explain diagnoses clearly.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or higher in Electronics Engineering Technology preferred
• Experience troubleshooting / operating / or setting up electronic equipment
