About the Job
We are seeking an Appeals Coordinator for our client based in Manchester NH.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process appeals submitted by clients or patients regarding denied claims or services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and information about the status of their appeals.
- Maintain accurate records of all appeals, including correspondence, decisions, and outcomes.
- Work closely with various departments, such as billing, compliance, and clinical teams, to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
- Ensure that all appeals are handled in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports on appeal trends and outcomes to identify areas for improvement in processes or services.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) is often preferred.
- Previous experience in appeals coordination, healthcare administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in relevant software and databases is also important.
