Job Description:
As an Appian Developer, you will work within our Agile development team, collaborating closely with Business System Analysts (BSAs) to translate requirements into quality-driven software solutions. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders from Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Supervision & Controls (S&C), and client management to understand and meet business objectives on the Appian platform. You will also work with the Compliance One Development Team to develop, implement, and validate solutions aligned with our business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BSAs and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality Appian solutions.
- Develop and implement software solutions on the Appian platform to meet defined objectives.
- Partner with Compliance, AML, S&C, and client management teams to refine requirements and optimize outcomes.
- Conduct health checks to monitor system performance and proactively identify risks.
- Design and manage data schemas and models in relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Develop API integrations and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Translate business requirements into prototypes and finalized solutions.
- Participate actively in Agile development, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in building and delivering Appian software solutions.
- Proficiency in Appian application architecture and end-to-end solution design.
- Experience with Appian cloud and conducting health checks.
- Strong understanding of software testing practices.
- Proficient in designing data schemas and models, with experience in SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of API development and integration.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in Microsoft .NET (C#) and related web technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and the Microsoft SQL Server platform.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.
