Application Engineer - L.S. Starrett Company

Serves clients by identifying their needs and providing technical advice of products. Works as part of a team that includes other engineers, machinists, designers, and the main factory’s production floor. The sales engineer provides quotes and custom gaging solutions to serve numerous industries. Oversees each job starting from initial customer contact and moving through design, purchase order receipt, bill of materials, manufacturing, inspection, and packing.

• Customer service skills

• Oral and written communication skills

• MS office, Smartsheet, and CAD

• Technical knowledge of manufacturing and processes

• Basic print reading and GD&T. Manual machining is a plus.

Education Requirements

• Minimum 2 year Associate Degree
