We are seeking hardworking, motivated, and committed apprentice electricians to join our team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Installation of electrical equipment and wiring under direction of supervisor/foreman
- Prepare work area for installation as directed
- Connect wiring and equipment as directed
- Work with all types of tools required to complete projects (drills, ladders, scaffold, etc.)
- Will work toward increasing knowledge and proficiency with tasks such as: digging trenches, bending, connecting, terminating, and installing various types of conduits, installing various styles of electrical boxes, run and fish wire and cable, layout various outlets and lighting, drill out for various runs, install and connect: plugs, switches, various types of lighting, fans, as well as panels and sub-panels.
- Will need to work toward proficiency with pre-wiring related to various applications
Requirements
- Electrical work experience preferred
- Maintain a positive attitude toward projects, tasks, and company policies and procedures.
- Able to take constructive criticism and direction.
- Willingness and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Able to commit to required training.
- Job requires working in all elements.
- Must be able to work with and identify colored wiring by sight.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is mostly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and sitting. The employee must frequently lift or move 50-pound objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
