The Opportunity:
Perkins Eastman We are seeking a dedicated and passionate team member with a blend of strong design and technical skills for immediate opportunities as an Architect in our Dallas office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of work.
- Collaborate in the development of designs using a range of tools from hand sketching to Revit.
- Contribute to the preparation of construction drawings for high quality construction bid documents.
- Review building codes and standards to evaluate design compliance with legal and industry requirements. Massachusetts public bid desired.
- Review construction submittals and log project data.
- Prepare finished material sample boards, physical models, and graphic presentations.
- Advance high-performance aspects of design and systems coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience (senior living experience a plus).
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts.
- Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Experience and passion for high performance, sustainable architectural design.
- Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Rhino or Environmental analysis design software.
- LEED Accreditation. WELL and Phius certification a plus.
- Architectural registration strongly preferred.
Type: Hybrid. 3 days in office 2 days working remotely, flexible days/working hours.
