Architect/Project Manager- Remote Position - Emerson Hospital

Emerson Health is seeking an innovative Architect to join the Facility Operations team working with the Senior Director of Operations and Real Estate. The position will be working on projects both within the hospital and at its off-site locations. The Architect position, under the supervision of the Senior Director of Facility Operations and Real Estate, will be responsible for designing and planning new and renovation projects in a healthcare setting. Utilizing a team approach, the position will be coordinating with internal departments working closely with General Contractors, managing the project on behalf of Emerson Health.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience, familiar with FGI guidelines, and a history of working with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Salary dependent on experience. Pay $115,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities Include:

• Construction Administration and management through project completion
• Knowledge of FGI Guidelines
• Ability to draft detailed plans
• Familiar with DPH submittal process to include Compliance Checklist
• Able to prepare a full set Architectural drawings
• Familiar with building codes and regulations as they pertain to healthcare
• Provide creative Architecture interior design functional for healthcare

Candidate Experience:

• Possess an Architectural degree licensed in Massachusetts
• Working with or in a healthcare setting for a minimum of 5 years
• History of maintaining and staying within a project budget

Skills:

• Familiar and comfortable performing construction assessments
• Strong written oral communication skills
• Deadline oriented
• Proficient in AutoCad
• Knowledge and use of Rivet or similar drafting software
• Familiar with Word and Excell
