About the Job
Established Architecture Firm located in Van Nuys is looking to hire an Architect and/or CASp with 10+ years of experience managing multifamily apartments and various Housing product types. Job position provides opportunities to work on New Construction designs for Residential, Commercial, and Multifamily developments. Architect has a full-service firm including land planning, entitlements, construction documents, permit processing, and construction administration. Position requires experience working with LA City Building Department.
Architect must have worked with REVIT for 10+ years. Job duties include design/drafting revisions clients, city departments, team collaborations, assessing Accessible Design solutions, construction drawings, building 3D Models in Revit, develop 3D colored renderings, drawing interior elevations, and drawing/referencing various construction details. Candidates should have experience working with building codes specifically the California Building Codes and/or Los Angeles Building Code (residential codes included). Candidates should also be comfortable identifying construction assemblies for cross referencing in plans from a detail library. Strong communication skills are desired and knowledge of Revit. Candidate should be familiar with Permit Processing in various departments.
The job will provide an hourly pay scale which is based on candidates knowledge and experience in the industry. Benefits include 401k, healthcare contribution, Paid Time-off for both Sick and Vacation time.
