About the Job
TETER Architects + Engineers is looking for an Architectural Project Manager to join our team in designing a variety of projects including education, industrial, energy, federal, private sector, healthcare, and commercial.
The Architectural Project Manager will be responsible for managing production of architectural projects, as well as directing support staff. They are accountable for overall project delivery, technical execution, and project financial management.
The successful Architectural Project Manager consistently exceeds client expectations by communicating regularly and effectively, adhering to established time and budget requirements, and ensuring construction documents are of exceptional quality. They work with the Principal Architect and production staff to develop construction documents in conjunction with the work of other architects, engineers and technicians.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
- Registered Architect in the State of California; licensure in other U.S. state is acceptable if able to obtain California licensure within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or related field
- Five to seven years of architecture and project management experience, as well as experience directing supporting staff
- Effective manager of his/her own time, setting goals, prioritizing, estimating hours, and completing tasks on time
- Self-motivated and committed to growing him/herself and the firm
-Possesses sound judgment, includes the appropriate people in the decision-making process, and is able to provide reasoning/support for his/her decisions
During COVID-19, TETER staff are primarily working from home with access to an office in Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo or Modesto. In order to best serve our clients located throughout Central California and visit project sites regularly, the Architectural Project Manager should reside near one of these offices.
Compensation is based on experience.
