Art Director at The Planet Group

Planet Interactive is seeking a passionate and creative motion-experienced Art Director to work within our 360 creative teams in engaging, story-telling conceptual work to assist one of our well-known beauty clients.

• Pay: Up to $47/hr depending on experience
• Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site Tuesday-Thursday)

Ideal Candidate: 

• You should be comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with colleagues in both 360 content and technical development.
• You should be a highly creative person that understands the importance and value of a strong brand and story.
• You are also not afraid of rolling up your sleeves, from executing graphic design to motion art directing, to even editing.
• You should be able to clearly articulate 360 concepts while laying out design executions that brings the 360 concept to life and translates to multiple platforms.
• You should have an internal drive to try new things, explore new industry trends and technology while pushing your comfort zone every day. Being flexible and adaptable as creative direction shifts is a must.
• You should have an obsessive attention to detail with a critical thinking and problem-solving mentality.
• You have the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, have great time management skills and experience with working with fast deadlines.

Art Director Qualifications: 

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative work and design skills across multiple mediums.
• 3-5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with AfterEffects.
• Excellent knowledge of all related Adobe programs.
• Well versed in Figma.
• Motion experience and capability.
• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent field of study
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
