Pay Range: $35-$38/hr
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Saturdays 10:30am - 12pm
Requirements: Must be licensed as an associate level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) with a valid searchable credential on the DCA website or CADC

We staff reputable addiction treatment facilities dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Therapist to join our team.
Job Description:
As an Art Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients at various behavioral health facilities. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group art therapy sessions, providing support for emotional expression, and ensuring the well-being and progress of each client.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate group art therapy sessions for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges.
Document services in EMR within a timely manner.
Collaborate with the treatment team for coordinated care.
Monitor clients' progress and report concerns to the clinical supervisor.
Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves creatively.
Requirements:
At minimum, candidate must be registered with the BBS as an associate level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) or as a CADC
Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.
Familiarity with the Sunwave EMR system is an advantage.
Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals.
Demographic of Clients:
The Art Therapist will primarily work with individuals dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) issues.
