About the Job
Position Summary: Assembles components according to product specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment; follows all safe work procedures.
- Assembles, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components according to specifications as outlined
- Interprets work documents, bill of material and procedures.
- Exhibits and maintains a high level of accuracy and efficiency producing a quality product.
- Accurately conducts product tests, calibrates parts to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
- Identify and document non-conformities
- Inspects results to ensure conformance with work documents.
- Packages/ over-packs products as needed.
- Promotes a team spirit throughout the workplace; generously offers support and willingly shares information with co-workers.
- Positively adapts to various assignments.
- Maintains a customer focus consistent with company mission.
- Assists with cycle counting and physical inventories as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Willing to work overtime hours as requested on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications:
- *High School diploma or equivalent required
- 0-1 year assembly experience
- *Good computer skills required
- *Ability to comprehend procedures and documentation written in English required
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools and other manufacturing tools as needed
- *Ability to identify, form, and install various components required
- Knowledge of blueprints/schematics preferred
- Strong communications skills
Physical Demands:
- Required to lift on a regular basis up to 25 lbs. may at times be up to 65 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand all day, bend, reach, and move about the facility
