Assembler - Cross Technologies

JOB SUMMARY

Fabricate hose and fittings assemblies and perform all warehouse functions to accurately pick and ship products. Understand and utilize Cross operating systems to always provide effective and efficient customer service.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricate hose assemblies from pick tickets
• Understand and communicate customer directions related to product requests
• Pick orders correctly by matching the item and quantity picked to the pick ticket
• Package orders for shipping using the appropriate packing material to protect against damage during delivery; follow instructions & requirements as noted on the pick ticket
• Deliver product to customers as instructed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• WAREHOUSE
  
  • Fabricate hose assemblies per hose certification requirements
  • Perform special projects as assigned by Supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse
  • Remove pallets and plastic reels to outside storage

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 to 2 years experience in a warehouse/stockroom environment preferred
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

• Basic math and reading skills
• Basic PC skills
• Basics of warehouse operations and terminology
