Job Summary:
The Assembler I will construct small to medium sub assemblies for integration into bigger units under the direct supervision of the production lead or supervisor. Assembling products according to specifications using schematics and various engineering instructions is a requirement of this employment. Maintain a specified level of quality and quantity of sub-assembled components.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Interpret different documents, including drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials or parts lists).
• Perform light mechanical work. This work is usually of medium complexity and requires fitting, aligning, and adjusting parts.
• Make units that meet the needs of the customer.
• Use power tools and manual tools to assemble the unit.
• Make sure Ratchets are set up, then (Torque).
• Use the ERP system to distribute finished goods (PLEX).
• Keep track of and manage the number of workstations in your area.
• Use PLEX to keep track of and manage your inventory.
• Tell your supervisor or lead how many parts are in your inventory.
• Clean up the house daily: 58 steps
• Make labels for finished goods that are correct.
• Follow safety practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident.
• Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Requires a US citizenship or permanent resident alien certification.
• Must possess manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in the hand tools to perform repetitive assembly or repetitive functions in performing assembly operations.
• Basic computer literacy
• Proficient in the use of a soldering iron to seal wires and weld tools
• Knowledgeable of electronic components and experience in operating assorted tools: drills, wrenches, etc.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00
