We are looking for an Assembler/Team Lead for our newly acquired business platform, Compass Water Solutions, a leading global supplier of membrane-based industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, oily water treatment, & reverse osmosis systems. This role is located in Tustin, CA.

- Lead a team of production employees, ensuring safety, and completing work against deadlines.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Essential duties and responsibilities should be listed in the order of importance/majority of time spent.
Hands on and assist assembly and wiring. This includes some assembly and testing.
This is a hands-on position with a team action approach.
Perform testing of equipment both electrical and with water.
Perform Quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests
Inform production employee the proper procedure.
Follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
Recording your hours for labor reporting.
Mechanical, Electrical, and assembly piping skills required.
Must wear all applicable safety equipment which includes, but is not limited to, safety glasses, gloves, and steel toed boots.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the Company/OSHA; pursues safety initiatives in support of the Company’s vision of “zero accidents”; maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements.
Must wear all applicable safety equipment which includes, but is not limited to, safety glasses, gloves and steel-toed boots.
Identify, report and correct hazards.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
:
**
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills.
Punctual
Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal.
Previous supervising role in a piping and assembly environment.
Ability to communicate in English
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM plus overtime as required.
Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
Location: Tustin, CA
Salary Range: $26.00 to $32.00 Hourly

Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Materials - Knowledge of material science, including their properties and interaction with other products in the system.
