We are seeking an assembler to assist our client with large, industrial equipment that is used within manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of equipment and sub-assemblies.
- Disassemble, inspect and perform repairs to customers' assemblies.
- Perform dynamic tests on critical assemblies before shipping to customers.
- Participate in all mandated company training classes.
- Operate lifting devices in a safe manner - forklifts, overhead hoists
- Assist shop or service personnel as necessary
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have the knowledge and ability to interpret assembly drawings in order to assemble components as part of a complete mill is essential.
- Knowledge of proper bearing and seal installation is a plus!
- 2+ Years' experience building mechanical rotating assemblies using sound shop practices.
- Must be able to provide own toolbox and own SAE & Metric tools - company provides specialty tools when necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Tech School preferred
