This organization is seeking an Assembly Technician with machining experience to join the team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$24/hr – $26/hr Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Assembly Technician will construct complex components and systems according to engineering specifications and guidelines
The Assembly Technician should have a background in mechanical assembly and should be experienced with a variety of tools and machinery used to assemble various components
The Assembly Technician will make a big impact on the quality and efficiency of the production process.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:
Operate and upkeep machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) to create precise parts.
Perform quality assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
Diagnose and address problems or flaws in the assembly process.
Keep thorough documentation of assembly and machining processes, including any changes made.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to enhance designs and optimize procedures.
Oversee open work orders through the ERP system.
Qualifications for the Assembly Technician:
Experience with mechanical assembly.
Machining background is ideal.
Education Requirements:
2 years of technical school is ideal but not required.
