Cornell Pump is seeking a full-time day shift Assembly Test Technician for our Clackamas location. This hourly position is Monday - Friday with overtime available. The hourly pay rate is $20 - $24 (DOE).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Assembly Test Technician will perform air tests and oil tests on all pumps built by the assembly team and will be responsible for assisting assembly with moving products, retrieving jobs, and assisting assemblers during the assembly process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bolts on block-off flanges to perform air tests and oil tests
- Operates a forklift or pallet jack to move pumps to the paint department
- Repairs leaking pumps when necessary
- Removes empty parts boxes from the assembly area and retrieves the next job for the assembler
- Assists in assembly when no testing is needed at the time
- Keeps work area clear and free of hazards
- Follows all safety precautions and practices safe working habits. Reports all unsafe conditions and injuries to the supervisor
What we're looking for:
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve mechanical problems
- Knowledge of testing pump performance, and making necessary adjustments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the use of hand tools
- Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to stay on task
