Responsibilities
As an Asset Management Imaging Technician, you will perform asset management imaging activities at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) user community and you will interact daily with Service Deck Technicians to ensure productivity and provide resolution to asset management imaging issues that the Service Deck Technicians may have with existing desktops, laptops & tablets. As an Asset Management Imaging Technician, you will apply your comprehensive knowledge of asset management Imaging to ensure asset management services are delivered in a timely fashion. You will provide input to configuration management planning; Assist in provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits; Participate in the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into the customer infrastructure. Assist in the workforce analytical and planning experience and using sound judgment in carrying out asset management tasks. You will also assist in identifying, researching and resolving problems.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Images and reimages desktops, laptops and tablets using PXE boot in Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
- Will follow written instructions provided by Team Leads and Imaging Manager
- After image has been laid down the technician will validate the image using their Administrator Accounts
- Technician will report to Team Lead and Imaging Manager any discrepancies or errors with the image
- Technician will create SNOW tickets to report image failures and track progress to resolution
- Supports distribution of equipment, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to monitor and ensure desired delivery times
- Duties include unboxing computers from warehouse, tracking assets in SNOW tickets, working with DPAS Property Custodians to assure proper asset tracking.
- Deliver weekly and monthly deliverables (e.g., Weekly Activity Reports (WARs)/Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
- And other assigned duties.
- US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Secret Clearance.
- Certifications: Security and one other approved certification like (Window Operating System Security)
This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

- Stoop, knee, crouch or crawl as required
- Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds
