About the Job
The purpose of the AP/Safety Manager is three-fold: safety -- examine the workplace for environmental and physical factors that could affect employee, customer, or guest health/safety to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents; ensure inventory accuracy within company components; and support the asset protection efforts.

You will work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from home on Fridays if you prefer.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop proactive programs to foster a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization
(corporate, fulfillment centers, and retail stores) to minimize the frequency and severity of accidents. - Develop, publish, and maintain OSHA compliance standard operating policies to ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
- Collaborate with management, facility managers, and department heads to establish and maintain
comprehensive safety training programs for employees. - Develop and audit required inspection processes and annual compliance training per state and OSHA
compliance standards. - Conduct workplace injury investigations and report findings. Investigate and analyze accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents. Develop and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain up-to-date OSHA 300 recordkeeping for each calendar year and facilitate posting requirements. File ITA and State records where required.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on health and safety-related matters, including the interpretation and application of laws, standards, and policies.
- Assist in the management of worker’s compensation claims handling. Work with Traveler’s Insurance Company to close out worker’s compensation and general liability claims and minimize costs.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving inventory integrity opportunities in both the retail and supply chain.
- Develop and review reporting mechanisms to ensure that inventory integrity issues are surfaced and acted upon.
- Work with Inventory Control, Fulfillment Center management, retail store operations, and other department heads to discuss inventory integrity trends and recommend controls.
- Assist in chairing the Inventory Integrity committee.
- Assist the AP Operations Manager where possible.
- Assist the AP Department in achievement of business plan goals and projects.
- Serve as an AP backup during times of staff PTO.
- Learn CCTV, Video Management Systems, Agilence, Brivo card access, and Invoice Processing systems.
- Assist in the development of departmental budgets.
- Regularly review Agilence, our internal POS exception reporting system, for internal dishonesty and operational errors.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, safety, forensics, criminal justice
- Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 5-7+ years in asset protection, safety, or fraud data analytics
- Experience developing reporting and presenting findings to cross-functional groups
- Experience in developing safety programs for distribution centers
- Able to communicate well across functions
- Highly organized and able to manage several concurrent projects
- Functions well in a team setting
- OSHA regulations and basic safety skills
- Basic accounting skills
- Presentation skills
- Proficient in Excel and other software programs
- 5+ years of experience years of experience.

Compensation Range: $88,000 - $105,000/year
Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
