The Division of Vascular Surgery in Emory Healthcare houses the Emory Vein Center, which specializes in state-of-the-art treatment of venous disorders. We are seeking a qualified vascular surgeon with expertise in growing a practice focused on venous disease to serve as Medical Director of the Emory Vein Center.

The Division of Vascular Surgery at Emory has a long history of excellence and innovation in the field of vascular surgery. Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their contributions to vascular surgery education, research, and patient care. Our division offers two training programs: a two-year, ACGME-approved vascular surgery fellowship, and an integrated vascular surgery residency. Our clinical research program provides patients with access to cutting-edge technology through numerous clinical trials.
The role of Medical Director involves developing a multi-site office-based vein practice for treatment of superficial and deep venous disease, vascular surgical trainee education, contributing to the research mission of the Emory Vascular Surgery Division, staff training and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and cultivating positive relationships with referring physicians in the community.
Requirements for this position:
- Board certification in Vascular Surgery
- Valid Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
- Clinical proficiency in vein procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to academic excellence and patient-focused care
