A leading dealership’s Collision Center located in Northeast Baltimore needs to hire an Assistant Body Shop Manager who will assist the Body Shop Manager in all daily operations. Responsibilities – Assistant Body Shop Manager:
- Oversee employees, repairs, and daily operations
- Hire, train, and manage body shop employees
- Arrange training to keep best practices and skills current
- Prepare work schedules and plan rotations to ensure Body Shop repairs are completed quickly and efficiently
- Write body shop repair estimates
- Manage Direct Repair Program
- Purchase parts and other supplies needed for repairs
- Professionally interact with customers, insurance companies, estimators, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements – Assistant Body Shop Manager:
- Body Shop Manager experience is a plus
- Body Shop Tech experience is required
- ROME experience is a PLUS!
- Appraisal license and Insurance company relationships would be helpful
- Excellent management, customer service, and communication skills
- Knowledge of new vehicle repair technologies
- I-CAR certification is preferred
- Solid understanding of estimating process and system
- Proficient computer skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
