About MI-HQ
Michigan Innovation Headquarters (MI-HQ) is a commercial landlord for incubator/ accelerator style commercial flex office/lab space. Our buildings have multiple tenants: some office space, but also specialized lab and wet lab space for life sciences. We help local companies grow by providing functional and affordable space in a collaborative environment. We have 3 buildings in operation on the West side of Ann Arbor and several more that will be put into service within the next few quarters.
About the Opportunity
This is a new role, and you will play a key role supporting the CFO and a wide range of accounting and financial activities. This is a full-time on-site role. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting
- Manage accounts payable
- Managing accounting related to the construction, remodeling and development of new buildings
- Grant accounting
- Completion of sworn statements for construction mortgages.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll through a payroll service company
About You
You are excited about joining a small team with an opportunity for growth. You have a solid accounting background and are proficient in Quickbooks and Excel.
