Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of financial reports.
- Maintain a system of accounting records.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.
- Supervise the financial reporting staff.
- Assist in the oversight of all accounting transactions and processes.
- Play an integral role in the planning and preparation of the annual company budget.
- Assist with the preparation of periodic financial forecasts for Senior Management, the Board, and the Bank.
- Evaluate new technology and software applications to meet the organization's financial data processing, control, and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with IT on software upgrades and implement enhancements to improve efficiencies in the finance area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance with at least four years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation
