Assistant Controller - Matric Limited

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:

The Matric Group, consisting of Matric Limited, Dynamic and Windurance, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for their operations.  The Matric Group is a family owned contract electronics business with a history of progressive growth.

The Assistant Controller will assist the Controller with general and cost accounting functions and the preparation of financial statements and reports.

The Assistant Controller will additionally:

•   Be a team player and business partner.
•   Embrace business improvements.
•   Ensure accuracy and compliance.
•   Possess strong financial acumen with a "hands on" approach to digging into numbers and projects.
•   Be "tech savvy" with strong knowledge of spreadsheets and ERP systems.
•   Be experienced in managing and developing an accounting team.
•   Have understanding of the day-to-day functions of AP, AR and Accounting.

 We are looking for the following qualifications:

•   Financial Planning and Analysis experience
•   Bachelor's degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
•   Commitment to strong values and integrity
•   High level of proficiency in spreadsheets and ERP systems (SyteLine software a plus).
