Job Description:
Assist with the supervision of clinical staff by creating a healthy positive working environment among staff. Promote teamwork. Manage, educate, and train staff as needed. Enforce the Behaviors of Excellence Standards and AIDET among staff. Investigate and address customer, provider, and staff related issues or concerns. Implement new policies and procedures as needed. Monitor workflow process and procedures. Maintain required documentation as required for RH and The Joint Commission. Maintain required documentation and reports as needed, and many other daily responsibilities as required by the administrator or manager.
Assist with staff scheduling and payroll-monitor OT, occurrences, and maintain YTD expenses at or below budgeted expenses.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget-maintain YTD expenses at or below budgeted expenses.
Assist with the handling of patient complaints as required.
Assist with the promotion of teamwork and communication among staff. Create a positive place to work.
Enforce the Behaviors of Excellence Standards with staff. Assist with coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed.
Assist with the maintenance of all documentation required for RH, The Joint Commission and COLA.
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
Assist with communication between departments and any procedure changes as needed.
Assist with departmental and organizational goals.
Assist with policies and procedures as required. Enforce all GVMH policies and procedures.
Education/Credentials:
High School or equivalent (GED)
BLS within 30 days of hire
Experience:
3–5 years experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Regulatory experience with Rural Health, The Joint Commission, and COLA is preferred but not required.
Supervisory experience is preferred but not required for the position.
