Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Nurse Manager - Eden Senior Care

Position: Assistant Director of Nursing

Edenbrook Oshkosh, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility located in Oshkosh, WI. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to administer the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility.

Responsibilities:

This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.

• Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
• Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
• Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
• Conduct thorough assessments of residents with wounds, considering factors such as wound type, size, location, and overall health status.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on best practices, physician orders, and resident preferences.
• Provide advanced wound care treatments, including wound cleansing, debridement, dressings, and application of topical therapies.
• Monitor wound healing progress, document changes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Education and/or Experience

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
• Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• 3 years experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Experience with applicable state Survey Rules Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
• Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
