E-MC Electrical Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Electrical Project Manager to support our Project Manager in the execution of large electrical projects. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. - Gain a comprehensive understanding of all contract documents, drawings, and client rules/procedures.
- Assist in developing project estimates and take-offs alongside the Project Superintendent.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to ensure full project scope is understood.
- Collaborate with the pre-fabrication department to identify prefabrication opportunities.
- Oversee field production feedback and manage the collection of necessary project documentation (e.g., daily reports, safety reports, time tickets).
- Submit and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders as required.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all project closeout procedures.
- Provide leadership and counsel to the Project Superintendent to maintain quality and adherence to contract documents.
- Monitor on-site work for quality control and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Utilize mobile devices and software for job management, work orders, and communication.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and manage field staff.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Electrical Project Management experience or equivalent experience as an Electrical Superintendent.
- License: A current Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred but not required.
- Requirements: Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug test, and present a professional demeanor in diverse project environments, including airlines, pharmaceutical, food processing, and government facilities. Occasional off-normal working hours may be required.
