Assistant General Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team in the Food & Beverage industry. As the Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to the success of the restaurant.
Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to maintain quality standards.
- Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
- Order inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Reconcile cash registers and maintain records as per company policies.
- Ensure staff compliance with safety regulations and food handling standards.
Management
- Recruit, interview, and hire quality staff.
- Train employees and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions.
- Adjust work schedules to ensure all shifts are covered.
Leadership
- Display professionalism and effective communication.
- Conduct meetings and accomplish objectives set by the General Manager.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and resolve employee concerns.
Work Condition Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours.
- Requires standing, walking, and frequent interaction with guests and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, math, and computer skills.
- Professional demeanor, outgoing personality, and positive attitude.
- At least 3 years of restaurant manager experience.
